Each year in The World of Glass an exhibition is held to celebrate the work of students in St Helens schools. Year on year the event grows in popularity and skill and 2017 has been no different. Over 500 entries have been submitted for a host of judges to view and decide which should be chosen to go on display in the gallery. Students from De La Salle have submitted a fantastic array of work from sculpture and painting to photography and fine art. The following students have all been selected to show their work in the exhibition, chosen by local artist Paul Cousins, Arts Coordinator- Hannah Longworth and international graphics firm Vinyline;
Eve Saunders
Aerielle Cruz
Rebecca Cliffe
Grace McArdle
Taveen Kaur

We are extremely proud of the work produced by all of our students, and we feel the chosen entries reflect the skill and hard work needed to create quality future creative practitioners and artists. All exhibitors will collect a certificate and the prize-winners in each category will be announced and presented with their awards by Mayor of St. Helens, Councillor David Banks on Thursday 16th March at The World of Glass. The exhibition will run until Friday 28th April so please support your friends and visit the exhibition to view some wonderful and inspirational art.
