Netball and Rugby Success!

Netball Success

On Wednesday 16^th March, the year 7 netball team attended the St Helens tournament tonight. They played fantastically well, winning all matches, except their first match against Rainhill. As a result, they have now qualified for the Merseyside School Games on Thursday 31^st March.

Players: Madeline Webster, Martha Davies, Isabella Scully, Phoebe Price, Tilly Barrow, Mia Fair, Rebekah Goddard, Mary Shute, Annie Meredith 

A big thank you, to Grace Tresnan, Georgia-Mae Walsh and Eleanor Webster for being fantastic leaders and ambassadors for our school.

Rugby Triumph

Last Friday the year 7&8 Girls Rugby team put 4 tries past Rainford’s 1, in a very well spirited and competitive semi-final, which now sees the girls go through to the St Helens Cup Final at The Totally Wicked Stadium next half term, on Tuesday 17^th May.

Players: Gabrielle Whiteside, Tilly Holloway, Emily Topping, Pearl O’Toole, Elouise Emmett, Chloe Pennington, Halle Segar (C) Annie Meredith, Elspeth O’Connor and Isabelle Nicohols.

Our Lasallian star players were: Chloe Pennington, Halle Segar and Pearl O’Toole.
