Pride of Britain

You would think after running with a host of celebrities, year 7 pupil George Mathias, would be used to meeting famous folks by now.

But he took it to another level on Monday when he was congratulated on being a Pride of Britain winner by Prince William – and presented with an award by X Factor judges .

George has covered 99-miles with celebrities to amass more than £35,000 for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital as a thank you for saving his brother James’ life.
