As the term draws to an end I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the work, efforts and contributions of all the students who have been involved in the range of Performing Arts opportunities this year; from the Mental Health films produced by students in year 7,8,9 and 11 to the year 9 GCSE drama students winning the Award for best mental health message at The Epstein Theatre, Liverpool as part of The Now young People's Arts Festival, culminating in a Theatre in Education tour to schools in the North West. The dancers, singers and actors for their successful Christmas Performance in which they explored the Christmas message through contemporary events.

A huge congratulations to the year 11 musicians and actors for completing all their GCSE drama and music courses. Good luck for results in August!

The De La Salle Drama Society involving students in year 7,8,9, 10 and 11 for their creative and powerful work in "Private Peaceful" rehearsals. The performance will take place at The Citadel on Sunday 11th November 2018 to commemorate 100 years since the end of WW1.

And finally to the cast and crew of the hugely successful, 3-night run of the School Summer Musical Production of "Bugsy Malone"! Thank you for sharing all your talents, enthusiasm and commitment - The students of De La Salle are simply put - Amazing!
