Year 7 pupil George Mathias has covered 99-miles with celebrities to amass more than £35,000 for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital as a thank you for saving his brother James’ life.

And if winning a Pride of Britain Award wasn't enough, today his achievements were recognised at the Archdiocesan Awards where he won the Inspirational Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.  He collected and celebrated his award at an event at the Royal Liver Building in Liverpool.
