On Thursday the 1719 Society met at the Brother’s house at St. John’s. They were joined by their proud teachers and parents, who have supported them over the past half term. The group prayed and reflected on the time that they had spent in Rome, the new friends that they made and the new experiences that they have had. The head boy and girl (Elizabeth and Joe) and two of the deputies (Dylan and May) spoke about their experiences in Rome. Finally the society received their badges and congratulated each other on their achievements from the past few months. It was a special night in a very special place. The evening was watched by the brothers, including Brother Chico who was visiting from Guatemala. The evening concluded with a group photo in the garden and of course lots of cake, which the brothers kindly provided them with.
