As parents and carers you play a vital part in ensuring your child gains the best information, advice and guidance to prepare them for life once they leave De La Salle. Hopefully this website will offer you further information that may help you to support them.
As well as Parents' Evenings throughout the school year, there are CEIAG specific events that parents and carers should be aware of. We will of course notify you of the specific times and dates of these events if they are relevant to your child.
Calling all parents and carers… You may be interested in getting involved in providing our students with some information, advice and guidance relating to your industry, business, college or university. We are always seeking out people from the world of work and FE/HE education to come and offer a different perspective to our students, and we would be very interested in getting you involved.
There are a number of ways you might want to do this. We run several events throughout the academic year (years 7-11) which focus students’ attention on CEIAG, which would be an ideal opportunity for you to come offer some advice. Alternatively, you would be welcome to come and speak during an assembly, work with a small group or attend our ‘Your Future Event’.
Our Your Future Event runs in November. Students from years 9-11 get the chance to speak to employers, further and higher education providers and apprenticeship providers in a marketplace and workshop style event.
If you would like to get involved in some way, please contact the school’s careers lead:
